DNT Ventures Inc. is a diversified holding company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. We bring together businesses across industries, with interests spanning digital products, services, consumer brands, and new ventures.

Founded by Daniel Ram and Tracy Davidson, the company combines technical experience with a people-focused perspective. Each venture has its own identity and direction, connected by a shared ambition to turn promising ideas into lasting businesses. Founded by Daniel Ram and Tracy Davidson, DNT Ventures brings together experience in engineering, public service, and building businesses around real needs.

CO-FOUNDER

Daniel Ram

Engineering. AI. Creative thinking.

Daniel is a senior software and AI engineer with more than 13 years of experience turning complex ideas into production systems. His work spans healthcare, government, retail, energy, and financial services, combining hands-on engineering with architecture and delivery.

His recent work includes agentic AI systems at Robots & Pencils, cloud contact-centre solutions at TELUS Health, and the Child Mind Institute’s Ask Kai AI platform. He also held a lead full-stack engineering role on VaccineConnect for the Public Health Agency of Canada through Domain7 and Deloitte. Alongside his engineering background, a sound design diploma from Vancouver Film School brings a creative dimension to his work.

Expertise & credentials ＋

Daniel works across React, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, Python, AWS, and PostgreSQL, with AI experience in LangGraph, LangFuse, and Amazon Bedrock. He developed AlertChirp’s cloud platform and React Native iOS application. His credentials include the IBM Python Data Science & Machine Learning Professional Certificate, Microsoft Python Foundations Certificate, and Google Foundations of Cybersecurity. His wider experience includes Kroger, Hitachi ABB Power Grids, Dometic, Athabasca University, IQGEO, Quest Integrity, and TrustArc.

CO-FOUNDER

Tracy Davidson

People. Product. Purpose.

Tracy brings two decades of experience supporting people through critical moments, from crisis response with Greater Victoria Police Victim Services and advocacy at Cowichan Women Against Violence to nine years as a licensed funeral director and embalmer.

In 2023, she moved into software development through BrainStation in Vancouver and built the first version of AlertChirp, originally TotalRecall.live. Her experience shaped a conviction that better information can change outcomes. She brings that human perspective, alongside hands-on product and engineering skills, to DNT Ventures.

Expertise & recognition ＋

Tracy is a full-stack engineer working with React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker, and holds a Google Cybersecurity Certificate. At AlertChirp, she leads product development, brand, and public safety strategy. During her career at Service Corporation International in Surrey, she received the Service of Excellence Award in four consecutive years, 2016–2019.
